My Side projects
These are some of the creative side projects I work on outside television. It’s mostly interactive fiction, games and small digital experiments. Some are finished, some are still very much in development, but all of them are a part of Moss & Quill Studios.
A Quiet Scurry
Interactive fiction - playable now
A Quiet Scurry is a short interactive story about a single night in the life of one of the UK’s smallest mammals - the harvest mouse.
You wake in a woven nest as dusk settles over a wheat field. Hunger draws you out. The world around you is vastly larger than you. And, it is not safe.
You might die, you might survive.
TerrAdapt: The Return
Centuries ago, humanity abandoned Earth.
The planet did not die. It adapted.
Radiation levels have fallen. The atmosphere has stabilised. What grew back is not what we left behind.
You are the newly appointed Lead Ecologist at TerrAdapt Site D-14, a small research outpost anchored into the cliffs of New Earth. Your work focuses on mutated flora and fungal systems, long-term habitability, and the question no one wants to answer too quickly: whether humanity can live here again without repeating its past.
Adrift
Parser fiction - playable now
Adrift is a small, tightly focused parser game written for PunyComp 2025, built around the problem of staying alive as your situation steadily worsens.
You are stranded in a damaged dinghy with drifting debris, a persistent seagull, lurking danger, and your own judgement. The game favours pressure and scarcity over spectacle, asking you to adapt rather than conquer.
Boop: The Pocket Fidget
Mobile app - in development
Do you remember the Tamagotchi?
Do you like a fidget spinner?
Do you like cats?
