Eleanor Coates, trading as Moss & Quill Studios, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
If you contact me through the website contact form, I may collect your name, email address and any information you include in your message.
The website may also collect limited technical information about visits, such as IP address, browser/device information and site activity, through Squarespace’s website and analytics tools.
How I use your information
I use this information to respond to enquiries, discuss potential production work, collaborations or side projects, and where appropriate take steps towards providing services.
I do not sell your personal information or use contact-form information for unsolicited marketing.
Legal basis
I process enquiry information where it is necessary for my legitimate business interests in responding to people who contact me, and where relevant to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
How your information is stored
The website is hosted by Squarespace. Enquiries may also be received and stored using Microsoft 365. These providers may process information on my behalf in order to provide their services.
I normally retain general enquiries for up to 12 months unless there is an ongoing business relationship, the information is required for business or legal records, or there is another reasonable reason to retain it.
Squarespace and Microsoft operate internationally, so personal information may be processed or transferred outside the UK. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are used in accordance with applicable data protection law.
Cookies
This website may use cookies required for the operation and security of the site. Squarespace may also use analytics or other non-essential cookies where you have consented to them through the cookie banner.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, or object to how it is being used.
